Abstract

The general purposes and state-of-art of security modeling have been analyzed; the necessity and details of modeling of inter-relations between food, water, and energy security in Ukraine are discussed. Main focus is on the methodological issues and on modeling of food security, and energy and water security were accounted as the resources constraints. This book was compiled as the proceedings of the seminar of the NAS of Ukraine and the International Institute for Applied Systems Analysis on interim results of a joint NAS-IIASA research project.

The book is oriented to scientists and experts in the fields of food, energy and water security modeling and management, and for policy makers on security and sustainable development
