Methods of analysis include an extensive literature and statistical review, detailed GLOBIOM modelling of cross-sectorial wood biomass production and use, and in-depth analysis of the implications on a multitude of sustainability indicators. The results for biomass use for material and energy are reported for EU28, while the sustainability indicators are assessed both for the EU and globally. In addition, country specific assessments were carried out for three case countries (Finland, Germany, and Italy) to examine the results against country-specific policies and resources date: 2016 date_type: published publisher: Publications Office of the European Union official_url: http://bookshop.europa.eu/en/study-on-impacts-on-resource-efficiency-of-future-eu-demand-for-bioenergy-recebio--pbKH0216505/ creators_browse_id: 93 creators_browse_id: 162 creators_browse_id: 119 creators_browse_id: 316 creators_browse_id: 173 creators_browse_id: 114 creators_browse_id: 157 creators_browse_id: 219 full_text_status: none series: Project: ENV.F.1/ETU/2013/0033 place_of_pub: Luxembourg pages: 43 refereed: TRUE isbn: 978-92-79-58757-3 editors_name: European Commission, editors_name: Directorate-General for the Environment, related_url_url: http://ec.europa.eu/environment/enveco/resource_efficiency/pdf/bioenergy/KH-02-16-505-EN-N%20-%20final%20report.pdf related_url_type: publ projects: Study on Impacts on Resource Efficiency of Future EU Demand for Bioenergy (ReceBio) coversheets_dirty: FALSE fp7_project: no fp7_type: info:eu-repo/semantics/book citation: Forsell, N. , Korosuo, A. , Havlik, P.
