T1 Group Decision Making Using Cardinal Social Welfare Functions JF Management Science YR 1975 FD 1975-12-01 VO 22 IS 4 SP 430 OP 437 AB This paper addresses the problem of constructing a group cardinal social welfare function whose arguments are the individual utility functions of group members. Representation theorems are given which show that the social welfare function is restricted to special forms if certain “reasonable” conditions hold. The appropriateness of these conditions for different types of group decision problems is discussed. PB INFORMS SN 0025-1909 LK https://pure.iiasa.ac.at/id/eprint/14026/
