%X Modeling change and accumulation in an urban system is a complex task that traditionally has been simplified by using a neoclassical model where a homogeneous good is produced from inputs of capital, labor, and technology (cf., Henderson, 1977). As ever, there is a price to be paid in this simplification; a price that is perhaps too high.
