To that end, it uses applied systems analysis to develop scientific evidence and identify water-related policies and management practices consistently across scales and sectors. The approach adopted is a stakeholder-informed, scenario-based assessment of water resources and water demand that uses ensembles of state-of-the-art socioeconomic and hydrological and climate models. These are used to examine possible futures, and test solutions that are not only feasible today but can be sustainable and robust across a range of possible futures and associated uncertainties. This report aims to present new knowledge on the current situation and water futures of Asia.}, author = {Wiberg, D. and Satoh, Y. and Burek, P. and Fischer, G. and Tramberend, S. and Kahil, T. and Fl{\"o}rke, M. and Eisner, S. and Hanasaki, N. and Wada, Y. and Byers, E. and Magnuszewski, P. and Nava, L.
