The implementation of a Decision Support System (DSS) has to be problem specific but reusable modular software provides substantial help in actual implementations. A DSS for regional water quality management serves as an illustration of the application of modular software tools. This paper presents one of such software tools, called LP-MULTI, especially designed and implemented to be helpful for the analysis of multiobjective problems described by linear models.
