The total input flow corresponds to an energy load on the agroecosystem, i.e., it is one of the main characteristics of anthropogenic pressure. The network structure reflects the real structure of the agroecosystem. Entropy measures of information is defined on this structure: the entropy increment and a redundancy index. The degree of agricultural development from traditional agroecosystems up to agroindustrial production systems is correlated with the density of energy inflow.</mods:abstract><mods:originInfo><mods:dateIssued encoding="iso8601">1995-03</mods:dateIssued></mods:originInfo><mods:originInfo><mods:publisher>WP-95-027</mods:publisher></mods:originInfo><mods:genre>Monograph</mods:genre></mets:xmlData></mets:mdWrap></mets:dmdSec><mets:amdSec ID="TMD_eprint_4565"><mets:rightsMD ID="rights_eprint_4565_mods"><mets:mdWrap MDTYPE="MODS"><mets:xmlData><mods:useAndReproduction>
