The total input flow corresponds to an energy load on the agroecosystem, i.e., it is one of the main characteristics of anthropogenic pressure. The network structure reflects the real structure of the agroecosystem. Entropy measures of information is defined on this structure: the entropy increment and a redundancy index. The degree of agricultural development from traditional agroecosystems up to agroindustrial production systems is correlated with the density of energy inflow. date: 1995-03 date_type: published publisher: WP-95-027 iiasapubid: WP-95-027 price: 10 creators_browse_id: 1766 full_text_status: public monograph_type: working_paper place_of_pub: IIASA, Laxenburg, Austria pages: 21 coversheets_dirty: FALSE fp7_type: info:eu-repo/semantics/book citation: Svirezhev, Y.M., Brovkin, V.A. , & Denisenko, E.A.
