It is a prospectus for an integrated hydrological, atmospheric chemical, biogeochemical and ecological global change study in the tundra /boreal region of Northern Eurasia. The unifying theme of the IGBP Northern Eurasia Study is the terrestrial carbon cycle and its controlling factors.
