Abstract
In this report the authors discuss the historical trends of population redistribution in France and go on to analyze current migration patterns. Much of the data used were unpublished and presented problems for which the authors created innovative solutions. The empirical results of the study are insightfully analyzed and contribute to the literature of internal migration in France.
