Abstract

The United Nations Secretary-General has described climate change as a defining issue of our era. The present Policy Note of the Commission for Development Policy (CDP) examines the severity of the problem and its implications for the international development agenda. It elaborates further on the background and the main findings that were presented by the Committee in its official report to the Economic and Social Council of the United Nations.
